About 15 people attended. We brought some food and the people at Southland had some tables and chairs set up for us. (I rewarded the businesses at Southland Books by purchasing a hot cocoa from the snack bar.)

[ January 20, 2009; 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. ] The Blount County Democratic Party is hosting an Inaugural Gala on January 20, 2009 at the Airport Hilton to celebrate the inauguration of President Barack Obama. The party will last from 7pm to 11pm, includes a live band and heavy hors d’oeuvres.
