Win in 2010 Critical for State and Party
Ladies and gentlemen if I learned anything at the Democratic Summit it is that our state and our state party are at a critical crossroads. We cannot afford to sit by and let the currently republican controlled state legislature have control of redistricting after the 2010 census. To do so would be political suicide for our state. Leaving things in their current position is completely out of the question unless we want to be gerymandered out of any and all representation we have. We not only have to campaign to win our local seats that are contested, but we have to extend ourselves and reach out to other democrats in other districts and those who are campaigning for statewide office. Our party and our state need our support now more than ever. Get involved, get moving and help our state and our party change for the better.
