2010 Roosevelt Dinner- Saturday May 1,2010

The Blount County Democratic party and the Democratic Women’s Club will honor Franklin D. Roosevelt, our nations Thirty-Second president at their yearly fundraiser. FDR was one of our nation’s greatest presidents. He was responsible for the establishment of the Tennessee Valley Authority, Social Security and established a work relief program, which helped our nation come out of the great depression.

The dinner will be held Saturday, May 1, 2010 beginning at 6:30 at the Grand Foyer of the new Clayton Center for the Arts. We are honored to have as our speaker for the evening, the Honorable Gary R. Wade of the Tennessee Supreme Court. In addition to dinner we will host a vintage fashion show, live music, and dancing.

Please join us in celebrating our Thirty-Second president and meet the Democratic Candidates running for County Office in 2010.at the  Blount County Roosevelt Dinner. Tickets are on sale now from any Blount County Democratic Executive Committee member. Tickets are $50.00 per person.  Only a limited number remain and will be available at the door. Come out and support your local party and help us work to make a better Blount County.
