The Blount County Democratic Party has many opportunities for local Democrats to participate in events. We welcome participation at any event and have events throughout the month which you may attend.
Democratic Executive Committee:
Meets the 2nd Thursday of the Month
at the Blount County Library in the
Dorothy Herron Room at 6:00 p.m.
Everyone is welcome!!
Party for the Party:
This event is the 3rd Friday of the month, which usually
falls after the County Commission Meetings. It is held at
Southland Books located at 801 E. Broadway in Maryville.
The group usually gathers starting at about 5:30 and stays until
7:30. We try to discuss what went on at the previous night’s commission
meeting.
First Friday Luncheon-
The First Friday Luncheon is the 1st Friday of the Month at
Southland Books 801 E. Broadway in Maryville . It is
from 11:30-1:00. We have local speakers and timely topics
that have been known to provoke some interest from not only
Dems but that other party as well. This is a wonderful event and
we encourage everyone to attend.
